Thailand to Cambodia

Today, 19th Dec we left Chiang Mai and flew down to Bangkok, changed planes and continued down to Phnom Penh in Cambodia, arrived at guesthouse about 6.00pm. Room not too bad. but expensive at 27 $ per night. Phnom Penh centre is noisy, busy, and dirty. Pestered by street boys selling books, all of them zerox copies of the original. Evening meal was good but expensive compared to what we had been paying in Thailand, but will become cheaper away from the city. As we arrived late in Phnom Penh had trouble booking coach for next day to Siem Reap, all full with backpackers and locals, but finally found one for $8 leaving at 8.15 am.
