Up early, packed and went down to reception to await our pickup to take us to the station. The owner of the guesthouse, an Australian woman, told us it had been broken into overnight and a couple staying in the room above us had their mobiles stolen.
The journey to Siem Reap ( 206 Miles ) should have taken 6 hours.....not bad for $8, but took 7.1/2hrs, mainly because the air conditioning did not work and they had to bring in another bus. Arrived at Siem Reap and took tuk tuk to our hotel. We are staying here for 6 days.
